KING TIDES

What a great project to be a part of. The property was an awesome location perched on a high bank bluff just up from the ocean shore. Groundforce’s skillsets and collaboration with the designer brought a concept to life with the integration of landscape with hardscape, water features, and planting.

We began with excavation and the construction of concrete forms for retaining walls that secured an oceanfront courtyard patio with stairs descending to the beach. Paving stones were installed, plus natural basalt treads with stone veneer, and then finished with custom stone firepits; for these, we sourced and purchased natural gas burners.

The Front yard was equally stunning—the water feature, curved basalt courtyard wall, circle kit pavers and natural stone slabs that acted as a bridge over the water feature.

This was one of the coolest designs that I have been a part of. Thanks to Arianne Huene for this wonderful creative design.
